“I love teaching all ages/experience levels and helping students become the best musicians they can be in any style of music or musical setting. One is the most important goals for me when teaching is establishing a strong set of fundamentals for each student in both the technical aspects of playing and listening. Similarly, I want to help the student learn how to take a piece of music and tell a story or paint a picture for the audience and for themselves. Lastly, I want to encourage my students to be their own best teachers and be as self critical as supportive and be able to distinguish what sounds good and what doesn’t.”
